Join members of Trinity United's Affirming Committee in a viewing and discussion session of the movie "1946 - The Mistranslation that Shifted a Culture". Space is limited. Registration is required.

The mistranslation of the word "homosexual" in the Bible in 1946 shaped modern Christian culture, leading to decades of exclusion, pain, and division. However, the 1946 production team, along with many faith leaders, scholars, and advocacy organizations, has been working toward a shared goal: exposing this historical error, challenging harmful theology, and advocating for full LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the church and in society.
