Did you know that we have a kids program on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am during our Worship Service?
Trinity Kids is a fun and engaging program run by our Youth & Community Outreach Coordinator. It’s open to children and youth of all ages and everyone is welcome.

Trinity Kids
Join the Drama Club!
Trinity United Church invites children and youth, ages 8-13 years, to join the DramaClub. Our club will meet in the church sanctuary every Wednesday evening from 6:45-8:00 pm. Members of the Drama Club will participate in drama games and activitie including improv, mime, mask work, character development, playmaking and more!
Our program is fully funded by Trinity United Church… so it is FREE to join!
Trinity Drama Club is on break and will be restarting in September.

Meet our Instructor: Mary Lawlis
Mary has worked in theatre and education throughout her
career. She has worked as a professional actor; specializing in
theatre for young audiences. Mary has served in a variety of
roles in the York Region District School Board including
secondary Drama Teacher, Drama and Dance consultant,
Administrator for Student Success and the Arts, and secondary
school Principal.
Mary has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from
York University, a Master of Arts in Drama Studies from
University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education from
University of Toronto.
Mary is a member of Trinity United Church and has led Trinity Arts for many years. She directs the annual Trinity Community Christmas Pageant Play and looks forward to this year’s production!

The Kindness Club
The Kindness Club is an inter-generational group inspired and led by young people which meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 5:00 pm. Its mission is to undertake projects which benefit Trinity and the Community – spreading God’s love through
acts of kindness. New members are welcome. High School volunteer hours can be signed off on for participation. Contact Jen at jencarter@trinityuc.ca to join!
Some of the Club’s initiatives and activities have included:
• Baking cookies to be shared with the Newmarket Community Fridge, Shelters, Seniors and others in the community who would benefit from some extra kindness during the holiday season.
• Wrapping Christmas gifts donated by the congregation to support a family in need.
• Transforming a space in the church into a gathering place for children and youth.
• Working to achieve God’s plan by lending support to other church teams and community groups.
