Did you know that today is International Day of Families?
We all know just how important families are, whether they are birth families or chosen families. People to stick by you in the good, the bad and the pandemics. Offering support, wisdom, guidance, and sometimes a little silliness.
Today, I would like you to reflect on a family in the Bible. I have 3 options below but you can pick another one if you wish. Read about them, reflect and then pray.
Family 1: Mary and Joseph, listening and responding to God and the plan He had to change their lives forever!
Matthew 1: 18-25
Family 2: Mordecai and Esther, Mordecai took in and raised his cousin when she was orphaned.
Family 3: Noah (for the most part) was a great parent, we built an arc to keep his family safe.
Genesis 6:9-10 and 6:18-21
Reflect on the family that you choose. Then pray for your own family to be strengthened and remain healthy during this family. After that, pray for the families of Trinity, that they too will find comfort and not feel alone at this time.
Perhaps reach out and tell a family you are thinking about them, you might just make someone's day!
