As always I hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.
During this time, I have had some interesting conversations with people, and I wanted to share one with you today.
A few days ago I was out walking in the forest and a ladies dog came up to me, covering me in mud! This sparked a conversation, it turns out she was a nurse in a longterm care home. I was quite eager to speak to her about her work, and she told me that in her workplace because of the diligence of staff there has been no Covid-19 there, praise God!
As the woman spoke, I realised she was a Christian as she spoke about the need for peace in her life and workplace. How she regularly prayed for and modelled peace whilst caring for her patients.
She then went on to talk about her church and how blessed she has been during this season. Which made me think about Trinity and how we have been blessed too. Even though we have been apart for a while, I am seeing children and young people asking more questions about who Jesus is, I'm hearing wonderful kindnesses down by our members, and feeling the love and support of the community at a time of need.
It is my prayer that this continues, that you have moments of blessing in the storm, and feel the love of Jesus even more as this drags out.
I thought I would share with you a 20 minute guided meditation with you this morning, if you can find 20 minutes in your day to be still in God's presence then I encourage you to try it out.
