Worship Moments July 10

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope you are doing well today and having a good week.
This morning I thought we should look at some reassurances from God's Word.
As every time I look at the news or social media, I am reminded, as I am sure you are too, of the pain and suffering which is all to prevalent at the moment. And sometimes, I believe it is easy to get lost in what the world is saying and forget what God is saying, so I hope this morning we can find comfort in what He is saying to us.
The world says:
There is political unrest, "Beijing brought in the controversial and sweeping new law."
The Bible says:
"When I am afraid, I put my trust in You
In God, whose word I praise
in God I trust and am not afraid."
Psalm 56:3-4
The world says:
"I can't predict when a vaccine will become available."
Jesus says:
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
John 14:27
The world says:
The economy is not good, "WE Charity stepped back from its $19.5 million sole-source contract to administer the grant program for the federal government"
God says:
Therefore I tell you, do not worryabout your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Matthew 6:25-26
Friends, I hope you find some comfort in God's assurances this morning. That despite the obvious trials we are facing, we have a God who loves us, cares and provides for us, and promises to never leave us.
Blessings,
Natalie
