Worship Moments August 21

Dear Friends,
I hope you are keeping well today.
For the last week or so, I have been reflecting on the many different changes that are happening all around me. It probably hasn't escaped our attention that our world has changed dramatically in the last 5 months. Many things, that I took as normal, are no longer.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have struggled with the idea of 'change,' given a choice I think I would have wanted the Peter Pan life style back then. I wonder if you have ever thought that?
You'll be pleased to know that I no longer dream of being Mrs. Peter Pan, but I do love creative and imagination still, I think that's a big part of why I love working with children so much.
The last few months have brought on so much change, so quickly, that I think it caught many of us off guard. So this morning, I think it is important to be reassured by a God who doesn't change or leave us all alone, as a comfort through these trials. And a beautiful video to help remind us too!
Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
Psalms 119:90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.
Lamentations 3:22-23 The LORD’S loving kindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
I hope you are reassured with our steadfast God that doesn't change!
Blessings,
Natalie
