Worship Moments August 14

Hello Everyone!
How are you keeping today? I pray the answer is happy and healthy.
This morning I wondered if I could share with you a video that I have shared with the children. It is called the "Kindness boomerang." In the video a man helps a young boy who falls from his skateboard, the young boy then goes on to help an older lady. As the video progresses, each person who received a help or a kindness, in turn helps someone else. They receive and then give.
I think it's a great example of the Christian life, we freely receive gifts from God, therefore we go out to help others, to shine a light in dark places, to reach the poor, the marginalised, the oppressed.
At Trinity we are great at things like that, even during a global crisis, we have come together to serve the ongoing needs of the homeless in Newmarket. Which is a mandate given to us by Christ, Luke 10:37.
The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."
In today's climate, that mandate takes a bit more creativity to fill. So, this morning I encourage you to watch the video and reflect on ways to continue to outreach, as we look forward and beyond the lockdown.
Blessings,
Natalie
