Worship Moments April 24

Hello Friends! I hope you are all keeping well and not too bored stuck inside.

If you are anything like me you may be having days where you feel like things are not too bad and other moments you may feel a little overwhelmed with the current state of things. And perhaps in need of a little reminder of hope and reassurance from our Heavenly Father who is control of all things.

So I thought I would share some scripture passages and songs that I hope you will find comfort in during moments when you feel peace has evaded you. Feel free to pray or read through the scriptures one by one and listen to the songs below them.

Psalm 62: 5-8

Yes, my soul, find rest in God;

my hope comes from him.

Truly he is my rock and my salvation;

he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

My salvation and my honor depend on God

he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

Trust in him at all times, you people;

pour out your hearts to him,

for God is our refuge.

Isaiah 43:2-3

When you pass through the waters,

I will be with you;

and when you pass through the rivers,

they will not sweep over you.

When you walk through the fire,

you will not be burned;

the flames will not set you ablaze.

For I am the Lord your God,

the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk

through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.

God of peace,

Fill each of your precious children with the gift of peace and the reassurance of love each day.

Quell fears and replace them with the hope found in you.

God of peace, hear our prayer.

God bless you all. You are loved!

Natalie
